CORAL FILTRATION
How does filtration work?
The production of Marlin vodka uses white coral sand from the Spratly archipelago, which is located at the intersection of the Pacific and Indian oceans. Coral sand is loaded into columns through which the vodka is filtered by gravity. This extra cycle refines Marlin Vodka to a crystal-like sheen, giving it flawless purity in taste.
What is White Coral Sand?
In fact, these are the crushed skeletons of dead coral colonies, which form entire islands in these warm waters. Coral sand is constantly being formed. Sea waves and living organisms continuously destroy the skeletons of corals, turning them first into pebbles and then into sand. The sand is lifted from the seabed, washed, dried and sieved to separate 2-3 mm fractions suitable for filtration.
